Questions
Does it work in Google Sheets?Yes. Upload the file to Google Drive, open it with Google Sheets and save it as a Google Sheet. The START HERE guide shows each step.
Do I need Excel?No. Google Sheets is free and works on a computer, tablet or phone. If you have Excel 2019 or later, it works there too.
Is it hard to set up?No. There are three short steps – Settings, Budget and Bills – and the example copy shows exactly what goes where. Yellow cells are for typing; everything else calculates itself.
What if I’m paid every two weeks?Choose your pay schedule in Settings – weekly, every 2 weeks, twice a month or monthly. The paycheck planner works out every payday for the year.
Can I change the categories?Yes. Rename, add or delete categories on the Budget tab, and they appear everywhere automatically.
